One of the coolest bloggers around is having a rough day. Yesterday Indisputable Topcat posted a great photo of herself with her grandfather. Great photo in that it shows the love between them, dorky photo in that it shows a teenaged Topcat in very dated glasses and hairdo. She has challenged the blogosphere to post dorky photos. So to cheer her up today, I will post a photo. In the interest of preserving my anonymity, it's a baby picture. I WAS A DORKY BABY!
I had surgery at 18 months to correct my crossed eyes.
TC, this is for you. I hope it makes you laugh.
Just when I thought things were going smoothly…

o my gosh, I had crossed eyes when I was a baby, too! Seriously! I had surgery when I was two. I'm going to have to dig around for a picture...
Oh, Dora. I PISSED myself laughing when I saw that pic, then felt bad that I laughed, then read that you said it's ok to laugh so I laughed MORE.
Oh but you were a sweet lil thing!!
Thank you so, so much. Your blog is actually in my laptop favourites, waiting patiently to be added to my blogroll (and google reader, whenever I set the freaking thing up).
I'm so, very sorry that your cycle got cancelled.
Very cool that you were bus blogging. I want to bus blog!
You are so officially in the Dork Competition. XOXOX
I love the picture!! Thanks for sharing.
Aaaahhhhhh....what a pic!
My Comedian has one "floating eye" (its kinda freaky actually) and that's why she wears glasses. The doc said it could be come a, "laaaazzzzy eye" (movie reference) so I'm hoping not!
Man...I'm still laughing..sorry.
I'm almost ashamed to admit I laughed at that.
It's okay to laugh. My parents loved me anyway! :-P I must have made up for it with my sparkling personality. ;-) And I got much cuter after surgery.
I'm sorry. I laughed at that too.
That picture is adorable. I seriously want to snuggle you up as a baby!
And it did make me laugh.
Oh no, Dora. You are going to be seriously difficult to beat in the dork competition, although I have to say to are way cute in that picture. You look so happy! I have to have something somewhere that can top this...I am on a mission to find it! :-) (anything to make TC laugh, right?)
I have to admit, I laughed too. But, you were seriously adorable as a baby.
Okay, I admit it, I laughed. But honestly, you are so cute in that photo! So happy and smiley! The crossed eyes just give you this sense of jolliness that makes me want to chuckle out loud.
I laughed more about your thigh comment than your baby photo.
Who knew we all had so much dorkiness to share!?
I think I've got you beat. Sorry 'bout that.
And I'm sorry to hear about your cancelled cycle.
(Please don't feel badly about the salsa comment. We all know the kindness in your heart.)
