The consensus from my comments were to call. (8 to 3 for calling over email in the comments, and 5 to 4 in the poll.) The only reason I could really see for emailing over calling is being chicken. IMO, not a good trait for a single mom. So I bit the bullet and called.
I got her voice mail. I left a nice breezy message about how nice it was to meet her and her family, yada yada, did she get the email I sent last week? I've been having some email problems, maybe it went in her spam folder, yada yada. Would love to talk more, move forward, etc.
I've heard nothing.
She has always responded promptly before last week. I just don't know what to think.

Don't panic. Sometimes things happen that keep me from calling people or emailing people for ages. Like when I have company. Or the flu. Or just feel lazy.
I'm going to stay hopeful and will assume that life is just hectic for her right now. I'd hate to think that she'd blow you off if she decided not to give you her embryos because that's just down right rude and inconsiderate. Hopefully you'll get a wonderful phone call this weekend!
I'm sorry. Bummer.

Errrrrr..... Why can't she just answer you back to ease your mind.
I hope that the reason she's not calling back is (as Jen and Niki said) because her life is hectic at the moment. But do hope you have a plan B in case this doesn't work out.
Ack! How frustrating!
I hope she contacts you soon
Like Jen and Niki, I hope she hasn't responded because she's crazy busy or has had things come up rather than because she's made a decision not to give them to you and doesn't want to face you. I've definitely failed to respond even to good friends occasionally, sometimes for no reason at all. (And then felt guilty for not responding and then took even longer to respond!) I hope you hear from her soon!!
